First day - Saturday:
We will meet at the Arenys Nautical Club, in Arenys de Mar (30 minutes by train north of Barcelona) at 11:00 a.m. The presentations will take place, the skipper will explain all the details of the trip, we will organize the shopping list, we will store it, distribute the cabins and we will start our adventure in the blue enjoying a spring sunset and night sailing.
Second day - Sunday:
We will see the sunrise as we approach the coast of Mallorca and, with a little luck, dolphins and some sunfish will come to say good morning to us.
We will arrive at the Serra de Tramontana, where we will rest from sailing, we will look for a place to anchor and eat, and then go to spend the night in a quiet place near Soller. The weather will make us choose the quietest place.
Third day - Monday:
We will wake up and have a breakfast with hot coffee that allows us to warm up and some toast that gives us enough energy to then do a few hours of sailing and sailing in the Serra de Tramontana.
We will end the day at Cape Formentor, looking for a good place to spend the night.
Fourth day - Tuesday:
After a good breakfast, we will set sail for Menorca, our main destination. The wind will set our course to the east or west of the island, always enjoying sailing and sailing. The weather will tell us if we will be looking for a port or a beautiful cove, such as Ses Coves, to rest and spend the night.
Fifth day - Wednesday:
Finally we'll be in Menorca, so we'll have a good breakfast and set out to enjoy the wonderful coves of Menorca; of course, without crowds and without noise, a luxury available to very few.
In the afternoon we will arrive at Puerto Mahón or Ciutadella (depending on the weather), where we will receive the new crew members. The new ones will be introduced to the rest of the tripu, and we will introduce them to make them feel welcomed by those of us who have been around for a few days. The cabins will also be assigned to them. And, with all the crew already full, we can enjoy a dinner sharing our experiences and best moments sailing.
Sixth and seventh days - Thursday and Friday:
Menorca has countless corners, which are more beautiful and picturesque. We will have two more days to continue discovering the island, sailing, anchoring and, if we have the courage on board and time permits, even take a bath in the blue.
Friday afternoon we will seek refuge in a port to go out for a walk and enjoy a typical island dinner at one of our favorite restaurants that we will have the pleasure of sharing with you and, if we dare (why not?) , also some drinks.
Eighth day - Saturday:
Last day on the island. Surely there are still some corners that we have not seen, they are infinite, so we will return to the blue to continue enjoying this wonderful island. At nightfall, we will head to Arenys de Mar.
Ninth day - Sunday:
We will arrive in Arenys de Mar around noon and will put an end to an extraordinary week of sailing, practicing and discovering Menorca during Easter. We will know a little more than we knew when we boarded, not without waiting for the next call to allow us to embark again.
See you next time, boys and girls!
