Sailing on our over 100-year-old windjammer is like a cozy journey into the past – combined with the comfort and safety standards of the present.

From the very first minute, our friendly crew, consisting of permanent sailors and trainees, will take care of your well-being on board, provide for your meals and offer advice for an exciting shore excursion.

Sailing operations are carried out in the traditional, manual way; nothing happens "at the push of a button" here on deck. You are welcome to participate in sailing activities at any time and on a voluntary basis, and of course you can also take the helm and keep the course, tie nautical knots, climb the mast and enjoy a unique view from the bowsprit.

Our competent, permanent crew will provide expert and safe support in all weather conditions. Of course, you are also welcome to simply relax, enjoy the journey powered by the wind, observe nature, count nautical miles, and forget about everyday life.

For longer trips, stopovers are usually planned at short notice and – whenever possible – with your wishes in mind. This way, you experience a sailing trip as a pleasant maritime blend of adventure and comfort, of participation and relaxation. You'll always be well catered for, as all our trips include full board (excluding soft drinks and alcoholic beverages).

On this sailing trip, you'll experience the Baltic region from the deck of a sailing ship: the summery Baltic Sea, tranquil bays, vibrant port cities, and a wealth of history. You can actively participate in sailing maneuvers or simply enjoy the wind and the vast open spaces. In the evenings, we'll anchor in sheltered anchorages or smaller harbors and watch the sunset over the Baltic Sea – always close to nature and culture. The sailing trip is framed by two attractive and easily accessible ports: Tallinn in Estonia and Riga in Latvia.

    This is where you board:

Tallinn, Estonia's capital on the Baltic Sea, blends well-preserved medieval charm with modern metropolis. The Old Town, encircled by a city wall, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and easily explored on foot. Raekoja plats (Old Town Square) boasts the Gothic Town Hall and narrow lanes lined with merchants' houses and warehouses, remnants of the Hanseatic League era. A short climb leads to Toompea Hill, home to the Russian Orthodox Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and St. Mary's Cathedral. From the viewpoints, panoramic views of the red rooftops and the harbor await. Also worth seeing are the historic city wall with its defensive towers, such as "Long Hermann," and the Rotermann district, where former industrial buildings now house design shops, restaurants, and galleries.

    This is where you disembark:

Riga, the capital of Latvia, lies on the Daugava River and is the cultural center of the Baltic states. Founded in 1201, the city was a member of the Hanseatic League, a fact reflected in its merchants' houses and warehouses. A short visit should focus on the Old Town (Vecrīga) with its narrow streets, Riga Cathedral, and St. Peter's Church, from whose tower one can enjoy a panoramic view of the city. The Three Brothers, Riga's oldest surviving residential complex, are particularly famous. At the Town Hall Square, the colorful House of the Blackheads and the Town Hall are striking landmarks. North of the Old Town, the Art Nouveau district around Alberta Street is impressive, one of the most important ensembles of this architectural style in the world. A stroll along the city canal in Bastion Hill Park offers a relaxing experience.

It was great to have the excitement of sailing a square rigger whilst at all times feeling secure and safe, thanks to the crew, (even when out on the yardarm).
