Regulatory practices for recreational boat skipper (PER).

We will carry out the regulatory practices to obtain the PER (Skipper for Recreational Boats) with the Sun Odissey 43, from our School approved by the Valencian Regional Ministry, with a base port in Marina Miramar de Santa Pola.

The current regulations establish that to be able to govern a boat you must carry out navigation practices and provide a certificate from an approved school of having carried out the navigation practices stipulated by law.

These practices are mandatory to be able to govern a boat, the current legislation establishes that they must have a duration of 16 hours, we distribute them in two 8-hour days. They will take place through the bay of Santa Pola and Isla de Tabarca. The official program published by the General Directorate of the Merchant Marine is followed.

In port, every day we will plan the route that we are going to take on the chart of our bay and we will comment on the weather forecast, we will teach you the operation of the different navigation elements.

I am a sailing instructor with more than 20 years of experience. I was an instructor for the Optimist and Cadete children's classes. I have dribbled in many kinds of cruising and snipe. In cruise, I was multitude of times champion and territorial subchampion of our class in the Valencian Community, champion of Spain of cruise in Alicante. In snipe, I have participated in numerous regattas nationwide, qualifying and participating in three championships in Spain.

In recent years I have dedicated myself to sailing classes on cruises for adults. It is a necessary complement to the compulsory practices of the different nautical degrees.
