In-person course in Malaga to obtain the qualification in Pollution Prevention and Control, basic level approved by the DGMM.
Aim:
The Basic Level Maritime Port Pollution Prevention and Control course provides students with knowledge of oil spill prevention, containment and collection systems, the necessary equipment, its maintenance and repair, in order to achieve an effective response to marine pollution events, in accordance with the basic structure established in the internal contingency plans, in compliance with RD 253/2004 of 13 February and ORDER FOM/555/2005 of 2 March.

Professionally trained operators and technicians assigned to loading, unloading and handling operations of hydrocarbons in the maritime and port environment: seaports, marinas, shipbuilding and repair yards, oil platforms, ship scrapping yards, hydrocarbon waste reception facilities and any other maritime facility located where Spain exercises sovereignty, sovereign rights or jurisdiction, whether the operations are carried out using fixed, mobile or floating means.
