El curso de Actualización de Formación Sanitaria Específica Avanzada aportará al alumnado los conocimientos avanzados necesarios para poder responder de forma rápida con toda seguridad y autonomía a las urgencias y emergencias médicas más frecuentes que se pueden producir en la mar.

Este curso de actualización se realiza de manera presencial en Manresa (Barcelona).

El certificado obtenido está homologado por el Instituto Social de la Marina, siendo un certificado de Especialidad Marítima refrendado por la Organización Marítima Internacional (OMI).

Todo el temario estará contextualizado con la mar. Este curso será impartido por profesionales de la salud con años de experiencia en actuaciones de emergencia y en formación.

El curso va dirigido a los capitanes, patrones y oficiales que hayan de encargarse de la guardia de navegación en buques obligados a llevar el Botiquín A o B, según lo dispuesto en el Real Decreto 258/1999, de 12 de febrero.

El programa se ajusta a la normativa oficial del Orden PRE/646/2004 de 5 de marzo cumpliendo con el Código de Formación del Convenio STCW-78. su contenido figura en la Sección A-VI/4, Cuadro A-VI/4-2 del Código de Formación.

    EL CURSO INCLUYE:
    - Material didáctico.

    TEMARIO:
    - Examen del paciente: Tomas de constantes vitales.
    - Asfixia y parada cardiorrespiratoria.
    - Hemorragias y shock.
    - Heridas y quemaduras.
    - Esguinces, luxaciones y fracturas Traumatismos.
    - Transporte de heridos.
    - Administración de medicamentos.
    - Botiquines a bordo.
    - Consulta radio-médica.

    REQUISITOS:
    - Tener 18 años.
    - Estar en posesión del Certificado de Formación Sanitaria Específica Avanzada vigente (no caducado).
    - El certificado profesional de Formación Sanitaria Específica Avanzada tendrá una validez de 5 años y contendrá la fecha de caducidad. Para que el certificado no caduque, es importante realizar el Curso de Actualización de 16 horas de duración antes de la fecha de caducidad de este. Una vez caducado el certificado, tendrá que realizar el curso completo de nuevo.

    Very good experience, but the weather really didn't help us at all because we couldn't do the tests in the water, but I think that if on other occasions the weather is the same again, there would be ways to compensate for that with other practices, a visit to a boat, a little closer look.     The teachers are good, especially the nurse. The practices were good, although the material was destroyed and many things were too broken to use.
    In the classroom, we only received the manual in PDF, we asked for paper but they were not given. In the middle of summer the air conditioning did not work well, and there was a lack of air in the classroom.
