The title of Restricted Radio Operator of the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) allows you to work as a GMDSS radio operator, in navigation zone A1, which is defined in chapter IV of the SOLAS Convention and in the Royal Decree on which approves the regulatory regulations for maritime radio communications on board Spanish merchant ships.

It is a theoretical-practical training through which the student is trained to perform transmission and reception services

This certificate is subject to the STCW international agreement approved by the General Directorate of Merchant Marine in Spain.
