The course provides complete teaching material to facilitate learning. Covering a wide range of topics, it covers everything from patient examination to medication administration and medical consultation by radio. Topics covered include asphyxiation, cardiac arrest, treatment of bleeding, wounds, burns, sprains, dislocations and fractures, as well as the transportation of the injured.
It is essential to have the certificate issued by the Social Institute of the Navy to participate. In addition, refresher courses must be completed within the validity period of the certificate, which is five years. This certificate can be updated twice, but after that period, it will be necessary to take the entire course again. This policy ensures that professionals keep their knowledge up-to-date and comply with the safety standards required in the maritime field.
