SMSSM Restricted Radio Operator Course in Altea “ROC”

On-site course for Restricted Radio Operator (ROC) of the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS), official and approved by the Merchant Marine.

Now you can do it in Altea, complying with the official duration of 40 hours (15 for the theoretical part and 25 for the practical part).

The course trains students for the performance of functions related to the radiocommunication service in ships covered by the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS), in maritime zone A1.

Afternoon schedule:

Monday to Friday from 15:00 to 22:15

Saturday from 8:00 to 14:15

Full course program:

Module A.

General principles and basic characteristics of the maritime mobile service.

Module B.

Practical knowledge and qualification of the basic equipment of a ship's station.

Module C.

Operational procedures and detailed operation of the practice of SMSSM systems and their subsystems.

Module D.

Operational capabilities and procedures for general communications.
