He participates in the Banco de España Regatta as an active part of the crew. It's not a walk, but you don't have to come and compete either: it's a different way of experiencing the sea, from within and as a team.

From the outset, you will be integrated into the dynamics of the boat, understanding how a regatta works and participating in real maneuvers, always in a guided way adapted to the group.

You'll learn (or improve) sail trimming, basic maneuvers and on-board coordination. There will be moments of concentration, others of laughter, and that sense of team that comes when everything starts to flow.

Always accompanied by an experienced skipper, who will set the pace so that everyone can enjoy themselves, regardless of their level. If you've never sailed, it's a perfect way to get started. If you already have experience, you can experience the race from another point of view, without pressure.

During the test you will feel the thrill of sailing in a group, making decisions together and seeing how the ship responds. Without obsession with the result, but with the satisfaction of being part of something.

And out of the water, one of the best moments: sharing the experience with the rest of the crews, commenting on the day and enjoying the atmosphere that is created.

You don't need previous experience. You just want to participate, learn and have fun.

Plan

Friday. Departure from Valencia in the morning to Dénia. First few hours to connect with the ship, the sea and the crew. Quiet navigation, without haste, gradually entering into dynamics. Arrival in the afternoon, time on board and night in port. Possibility to board in Dénia. Dinner and first conversations that are already starting to create a team.

Saturday. Day of racing. Departure in the morning to the Bay of Jávea, where the environment changes: more ships, more tension, more energy:

• Start of the race around 12:00 — 12:30.

• Hours of intense sailing, coordination and team decisions.

• End of the test and return to Dénia.

• Joint dinner with all the crews: intertwined stories, laughter, healthy competition and that unique atmosphere that can only be experienced after a regatta.

• Night on board.

Sunday. Return to Valencia at a different pace. More relaxed, more aware, with the feeling of having been part of something. Quiet navigation, possible stops for swimming and time to enjoy the sea without pressure. Stop in Dénia for disembarkation and arrival in Valencia in the afternoon.

Other information

All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (english and spanish)

You don't need previous experience: you can come whether it's your first time or if you've already sailed. Spanish and English are spoken on board, so language is not a problem and integration into the group is very simple.

The departure will take place with a minimum of 6 confirmed crew members.

Separate expenses:

• Common fund (food, drink and fuel): approx. 120 €/person.

• Registration for the regatta: approx. 80€/person.

The registration includes everything you need to enjoy the regatta: organization, mooring in Dénia, joint dinner with all the crews, trophies, water safety, committee boat, beacon and photographic coverage.

You just have to come looking forward to it. We take care of the rest on board.
