Prince Rupert - The start of the coastal journey
Our journey begins in Prince Rupert, renowned for its breathtaking natural beauty. We navigate a labyrinth of forested islands and pass dark cliffs that rise directly from the water. After final preparations and checking in at the harbor, we set course south. Leaving Prince Rupert behind, we sail along Canada's rugged coastline, dotted with secluded bays and wildly romantic fjords. The first leg of our voyage is characterized by the tranquil and majestic beauty of the North Pacific.
Our first stops are in some of the remote fjords, where coastal life unfolds in harmony with nature. We anchor in sheltered bays teeming with oysters and fish, and enjoy the tranquility of the north. The imposing glacier walls and forested mountain ranges rising from the water make these legs of the journey a truly unforgettable experience.
We take our time for hikes in the forests, visit remote locations accessible only by sea, and enjoy the tranquility of the Canadian wilderness. Life on board follows a relaxed rhythm: sailing, anchoring, and constantly experiencing the ever-changing coastal scenery.

The waterways of British Columbia are dotted with countless islands and small bays, perfect for relaxing. Here, you can discover the local flora and fauna or explore charming harbor towns. Each bay has its own unique charm and character – from idyllic sandy beaches to imposing cliff formations.
Stage destinations: Vancouver Island and the Discovery Islands
One of the most fascinating legs of the trip is Vancouver Island, one of the largest islands in the region. We'll stop in small, picturesque villages along the island and experience the cultural diversity of this area. Victoria, the capital of British Columbia, with its Victorian buildings and historic harbor, is a particularly lovely stop.
Our journey continues through the Discovery Islands, an archipelago renowned for its surprisingly clear waters and whale watching opportunities. These tranquil and remote waters offer us the chance to witness the fascinating transition from the cold waters of Alaska to the milder climates of British Columbia.
The final stretch to Vancouver
The final days of our voyage are slowly bringing us closer to Vancouver, the city on the Vancouver Sound and the destination of our trip. The geographical beauty of the surroundings becomes more impressive with each day of sailing: mountains and islands form the backdrop as we approach the final miles into Vancouver harbor.
Vancouver Harbour is a beautiful end to the trip, where we enjoy the last hours at sea with a celebratory anchor toast. The city's skyline, with its modern skyscrapers and green surroundings, forms a unique contrast to the wild nature we left behind during the voyage.
Arrival in Vancouver
After four weeks at sea, we reached Vancouver Harbour, marking the end of our coastal voyage. This trip not only brought us closer to the breathtaking beauty of the British Columbia coast, but also gave us the wonderful feeling of having sailed along one of the wildest and most pristine coastal regions in the world.
