Day 1: Course 115º - The Blue Jump.
We will set sail from the Real Club Náutico de Valencia at first light or at dusk, depending on the weather. After the safety and stowage briefing, we will leave the coast behind to enter the 80 miles that separate us from the Pitiusas. This is the time for pure altitude sailing: we will triage sails, we will practice steering the wheel and, if the night catches up with us at sea, we will learn to manage the guards under an infinite starry sky, interpreting radar and AIS as true sailors.
Day 2: Formentera and the Crystal Paradise.
Watching the sun rise over the silhouette of Es Vedrà is an experience that cannot be forgotten. We will head straight to the turquoise waters of Ses Illetes or Cala Saona. The 49i, with its wide sleeve and swim platform, is the perfect base for enjoying the first dip. We will dedicate the day to practicing real anchoring maneuvers (choice of fork and Borneo circle) and to soak up the unique energy of the island. We will go ashore to feel the white sand before a quiet dinner on board under the moonlight.
Day 3: Coastal Sailing and Improvement.
We will skirt the coast of Formentera, sailing under the impressive cliffs of the La Mola Lighthouse. It's the perfect setting for coastal navigation and visual brand recognition. If the wind gives us a good day, we will perform twists and turns exercises so that you can feel the response of the helm of this great sailboat. We will look for a less crowded cove to eat and, in the afternoon, we will begin positioning for the return crossing, applying everything we learned on the way out.
Day 4: Arriving and Closing Miles.
The last day is to enjoy pure sailing back to the peninsula. With the course set for Valencia, we will take the opportunity to answer technical questions, review the weather and enjoy the sustained speed that this cruiser-regatta is capable of maintaining. Seeing the skyline of Valencia appear on the horizon marks the end of a journey where we will get off the ship not as customers, but as a cohesive crew that has shared miles, knowledge and the freedom that only the sea offers.
