To expand the description in Sailwiz and take advantage of those 6000 characters, the objective is to paint a picture of what the experience will be like. We want the right man to read this and think, “That's exactly the type of navigation and person I'm looking for.”
Here is an expanded, structured and very careful proposal, ready to copy and paste:
Sailing isn't just moving on water; it's a way of understanding time, space and human relationships. For ten days, we will set moorings in Mallorca with our bow set towards Palermo, Sicily. This is not a conventional charter offer or a sailing course; it is a personal invitation to share a high-altitude journey in an environment of respect, freedom and, above all, a lot of harmony.
Crossing the Tyrrhenian Sea is a transformative experience. They are approximately 400 miles of intense blue where the rhythm is set by the wind and the harmony of the crew. I'm looking for someone who understands that the real magic of a ship happens in shared moments: a night guard under an infinite milky way, the first coffee at dawn while the ship glides in silence, or an in-depth chat while we cross the Sardinian channel.
Who am I looking for on this path? I am looking for an experienced navigator (or a couple of sailor friends) who would like to join this project. I value technical capacity, of course, but my priority is human quality. I'm looking for someone:
That it shares a philosophy of life close to the sea, based on simplicity, good humor and elegant treatment.
That values complicity and genuine affinity. For me, the boat is a haven where good conversation and laughter are as important as good sailing trimming.
Be proactive and enjoy life on board in all its facets: from sailing strategy to the pleasure of cooking something delicious to share at dusk.
My hope is that this journey will be the beginning of something more; that, if such “nautical chemistry” exists, this will only be the first chapter of many more miles shared in the future.
We will sail in a very small group (maximum 4 people) to ensure everyone's comfort and privacy. The ship has two fully equipped double cabins. One will be occupied by my friend and me, and the other is reserved for those who complete this team.
Life on board will be balanced: moments of active sailing where we all participate, and moments of total relaxation to read, listen to music or simply contemplate the horizon.
We will sail in an ideal period in the Mediterranean, with long days and warm nights.
If you are a sailor at heart, if you are looking for an authentic journey and you believe that the best sailing is the one done with the right company, I would love to receive your message. Tell me a little about yourself, your experience and what you are looking for in the sea.
Shall we sail together to Palermo?
