Day 1: Meeting at Ponta Delgada, briefing then sailing
We will meet at 11:00am at a bar called Baia dos Anjos and we will have a first meeting, briefing about life aboard and safety. In the afternoon we will sail to Vila Franca do Campo 11 NM along the coast of São Miguel.

Day 2: Head to Terceira Island
We will have breakfast, go for a swim and ride the SUP before we get ready for a overnight sail of 105 NM until Angra do Heroísmo.

Day 3: Have a rest and city sightseeing
After our arrival at Angra, we will have the time to rest and stay a day in a Unesco World Heritage sight like Angra do Heroismo is.

Day 4: Sailing 40 NM to Praia, Graciosa Island
Keep an eye out... on the way to Graciosa, there is a lot of sea and wildlife. Maybe we'll get lucky and see something spectacular!

Day 5: Sailing 30 NM to São Jorge
We will arrive to São Jorge where we should really rent a van and go for a visit of the Island and hike. It is such a great Island for exploring the nature.

Day 6: Sailing 10 NM to Pico
Arrive at Pico, the capital of the Whaleboats. Visit the museum, relax at anchor, swim and snorkel.

Day 7: Sailing 25 NM to Horta
Check in at Peter's Café Sport and look at the logos drawn by the sailors that cross the Atlantic. Visit a Volcano that errupted and augmented the island by 500 meters in the 1960's and get the boat ready for the longest leg of our trip.

Day 8: Sailing 150 NM back to São Miguel
This is the longest non-stop leg of our trip. It might take around 24 hours to sail back. AWESOME!!!!

Day 9: Arrival at São Miguel and last dinner together
When you arrive at São Miguel, you will head straight to a natural hot water Spring to relax and enjoy a rest followed by a nice local dinner where you will share with your crew the unforgettable memories you’ve made throughout the trip, share contacts and pictures with your new friends.

Day 10: Hugs and kisses
Breakfast aboard followed by disembarkation in Ponta Delgada at 10:00am

Sailing with André&Rita in the Azores was one of my best holidays ever! I've already been on a sailingtrip with André in the Cyclades, so i knew going on another sailingtrip with André will be fun, chilling on the deck, intense, jumping in the sea on amazing spots, expect the unexpected and safe, André takes really good care of you, thanks André!
That combined with the great cook and sweet person sailor Rita is, just perfect! Thanks Rita! 5 star meals aboard, local fresh food from the Azores, jummie, fresh fish from the Ocean catched and prepared by André&Rita.
Sailing around these beautifuls islands, stunning landscapes, sailing between 200 dolphins, jumping in and snorkeling between dolphins, hearing there noises,.... I was really astonished by all the 6 islands we went too. There are all so different. Azores are a hidden secret, paradise! And how can you discover them better then going on a sailing trip with a local :-) Thanks a lot André&Rita for this dreamvacation! Els xxx

Thank you so much to Andre and Rita for the amazing trip around the Azores. My family and I had the time of our lives with the beautiful sights of the Atlantic Ocean as well as indulging in the culture of Portugal on land. The trip would not have been the same without them and the hospitaly they gave to us. If you are looking for a trip that will change your life this is it.

One of the funnest and most unique trips I've ever been on! Andrés and Rita are amazing and gave me and my group so many cool experiences that I'll never forget - seeing dolphins, beautiful hiking and trying amazing new food being just a few of them. The spontaneous way the trip is run was really relaxing and made everything a fun surprise! Loved every minute of it and already dying to go back next year :)
