SATURDAY
We meet at CN Arenys de MAr at 12:00 p.m. The presentations are made, the skipper will explain all the details of the trip, we organize the stowage of the purchase, we distribute the cabins and the skipper will give you some notions of sailing with a short briefing and we will start our adventure in the blue enjoying night sailing.
SUNDAY
We will see the sunrise as we approach the coast of Mallorca, and with a little luck the dolphins and some sunfish will come to say good morning to us.
We will arrive at the Serra de Tramontana where we will rest from sailing, we will look for a place to anchor and eat, and then head to spend the night in the quiet Bay of Soller.
MONDAY
We will wake up and have a breakfast with hot coffee that allows us to warm up and some toast that gives us enough energy to then do a few hours of sailing and sailing, in the Serra de Tramontana. Here the skipper will teach you how to sail for the less experienced, and you can ask him as many questions as you want in addition to participating in the internships with the aim of perfecting your technique and being able to accumulate hours of practice that will lead you to be able to skipper a boat by yourself.
We will end the day at Cape Formentor, looking for a good place to spend the night.
TUESDAY
After a good breakfast, we will set sail for Menorca, the wind will set our course to the east or west of the island, always enjoying sailing and sailing. The weather will tell us if we will be looking for a port or a beautiful cove like Ses Coves, to rest and spend the night.
WEDNESDAY
We continue with the practices, as many as the part allows and our body endures and this time on our way to Ciutadella. After a few days together, we'll feel like a real team to start the 100-mile race the next day. We will not forget to make the appetizer and anchor to eat what we have prepared together.
The coasts of Menorca and Mallorca will offer us some impressive places that we will discover as the days go by and despite having visited it in summer, the light and water during Holy Week have nothing to do with it; without people, just sailboats, or jet skis that break the silence of sailing, or the sound of the waves breaking with the hull of our boat.
On Wednesday afternoon we will arrive in Ciutadella where we will welcome the new crew members and say goodbye to those who do not continue our adventure. We will introduce the new ones to the rest of the tripu, and we will introduce them so that they feel welcomed by those of us who have been around for a few days, they will also be assigned the cabins. And the entire crew can now enjoy a dinner sharing our experiences and best moments sailing.
THURSDAY
Thursday will have arrived the big day of “the regatta of the 100 miles between islands”, so we will start with a good breakfast on the boat while we discuss the last details, such as which other boats participate and which we know, etc... We will distribute tasks and answer questions if there are still any, about how the regatta will take place. And so it will begin, placing us on the starting line waiting for the exciting departure of the 50 boats that are expected to participate this year.
The regatta will head to Farallot d'Aubarca (Mallorca) - illa dels vents and finally Ciutadella.
During the Regatta we will have time to maneuver with the sails, decide different strategies depending on the wind, and organize the night guards, we will organize ourselves so that some cook while others control maneuvers and be able to enjoy something delicious to eat and/or dine on.
FRIDAY
The regatta will last about 20 to 30 hours, so we will arrive to have dinner and sleep in Ciutadella. There we can celebrate that we have finished toasting it with some glasses of champagne and a dinner on dry land. Challenge achieved!!
SATURDAY
The trophy ceremony will take place on Saturday and as soon as the time is known, we can plan the day by going out sailing and enjoying the blue. Once again, the part will mark our destination and the coves to pay for. We can anchor and enjoy a good aperitif and something to eat at noon to return to Ciutadella where those who want can disembark or continue the adventure. At nightfall we will head to Barcelona
It will be another intense day that we will squeeze to the maximum to recreate what we have come for: Learning to sail with crew members who share that hobby with you
