Crossing London-Santander in 10 days

A 10-day experience sailing from London to Santander. Descending the Thames, crossing the English Channel and the Bay of Biscay, sailing the seas aboard a sailboat that already knows the way ... These are some of the moments that we will live during this journey.

It is not essential to have experience to enjoy this unique journey, although there are routes of up to 48 hours that will be a challenge for novices. The seasoned navigator will put into practice all their knowledge to collaborate in the handling of the boat: maneuvers, guards, trim and change of sails, etc.

The pleasant company will contribute to creating an unforgettable experience, in which we will visit ports such as Saint Katharine Docks, Dover, Cowes, Loctudy ...

You sleep on board every night, especially if we decide to sail to La Luz de la luna in summer.

Plan

Departure from London on Saturday, with scheduled arrival ten days later (Tuesday) to Santander. Entry on the ship would be on Friday. It will go along the south of England, to cross the Channel at the height of L'Awebrach. Then, a last stop in Loctudy before crossing the Bay of Biscay to Santander in 48 hours.

The itinerary would be along the English, French and Spanish coast, although the ports will be decided according to the weather and sea conditions. We have already done the tour before.

Other information

All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (spanish)

If you want to book the full cabin, the price is €2,100 (€1,050 per person). Ask us and we will give you a discount code to apply it.

All food, on board and ashore, would be done in equal parts. Each crew member pays for the transfer to Santander and from London.

The boat has 4 double cabins and 3 toilets. The passenger shares a cabin.

Possibility of contracting the one-way trip, from Santander to London.

Boat details

Sailboat cruising, comfortable, elegant, of the year 2007 but completely revised in 2018. I sailed on it from the Baltic Sea to Santander during the month of January and February, and has behaved extraordinarily. It has diesel heating, roller shutters, a large bathtub with bimini and hood.
