Crossing the Atlantic by catamaran. Canary Islands - Cape Verde

Sailing crossing of the Atlantic on a catamaran, setting sail from Gran Canaria, passing through Cape Verde (Sal-Mindelo) and ending on the island of Barbados.

Our catamaran (2020) is very well equiped with Code 0, Spinnaker, etc. to cross the Atlantic. It is a modern, fast, reliable and very stable catamaran.

It has 4 double cabins with private bathrooms.

In addition to being super equipped: Radar, AIS, Watermarker, Solar Panels (1800Watts), Refrigerator, Freezer, Iridium, Starlink, etc.

Plan

The ship will be ready to receive the crew starting in the port of Gran Canaria. You will then have three days of boat preparation, training, and familiarisation of the boat and your fellow crewmates.

On the fifth day, we will set sail from Gran Canaria and in about 4 or 5 days we will arrive in at Cape Verde (Sal-Mindelo) where we will make a stop to visit the islands (kitesurfing at Sal) and get supplies if necessary. This stop is optional and depends on the crew. We will update everyone who has booked once we have confirmation.

Then we will leave for Barbados (Caribbean) where we will sail for approximately 13 days until we reach Paradise!

Once we arrive in the Caribbean, we will one day enjoy all together in those crystal clear waters.

It is a navigation with constant trade winds on the fin of about 15/20 knots that with a catamaran of these characteristics make it a very comfortable crossing.

All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (english)

It is important to keep in mind that our priority is the safety and comfort of the crew. Due to weather conditions, we may take a little longer than expected, so we recommend not purchasing return flights until arriving in Barbados or one day before our arrival.
