Crossings between islands: Tenerife and La Gomera.

On this sailing trip, we will sail between islands, in 2 crossings of about 35 - 40 miles between the islands of Tenerife and La Gomera.
It will be a sailing trip to learn, to develop skills and share knowledge with other crew members.

We will navigate through unique areas to spot different types of cetaceans and we will be able to visit the interior of the island of La Gomera, discovering its incredible Garajonay National Park.

The navigation area will be south - southwest of Tenerife and the island of La Gomera.

In the interior of the islands they are paradises full of nature. In them we find the best representations of subtropical jungle forests, spectacular viewpoints, black volcanic earth, lava tubes, steep cliffs, puddles and natural pools.

Plan

The program will be defined based on the weather forecast and will be decided together with all the crew members, always looking for the best options during all the crossings and visits to the islands.

The first day will be the day of embarkation, to go on a cruise the next day, and the last day will be the day of disembarkation, arriving at the destination the day before.

Example of itinerary:

Day 1. Boarding day. You can board from 5:00 p.m.
Day 2. Navigation Day. Cruise from Tenerife to La Gomera. Night in the port of San Sebastián de La Gomera.
Day 3. Day to explore the interior of the Island of La Gomera. You can take an excursion through the Garajonay National Park, the best example of Laurisilva in the Canary Islands.
Day 4. Sailing day back to Tenerife.
Day 5. Disembarkation day in the south of Tenerife.

Other information

All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (spanish)

*Published prices are per person in a double cabin. If you want to stay in another modality, such as a private cabin, you can contact us via chat and we will inform you of the options.

*Food expenses are not included. The expenses are about €20 per person per day (includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, and all the necessary provisions on board such as water, coffee, tea, fruit or other snacks during the day).

*Tasks on board are collaborative. You cook as a team, you stand guard if necessary, and you can participate in navigation tasks.

*Mooring and port expenses are not included in the indicated price. The marinas have a cost of between 15 and 26 euros per night, the cost will be borne by all travelers.

*The itinerary may be modified due to weather conditions. An alternative itinerary agreed with all travelers will be decided.

Boat details

More than a sailboat, this boat is a home for us and our guests. It is cozy and with comfortable spaces.
The sailboat is 13.30 meters long. It has 4 cabins. Two of them with a double bed, one with a double bed and an additional bed, and one with 2 bunk beds.
It has a spacious living room inside, a well-equipped kitchen, and 2 bathrooms with a hot shower.

Its outdoor spaces are perfect to enjoy long days at sea. Relax in the bow hanging from a hammock, or sit in the bathtub looking for a bit of shade at lunchtime.
It is a perfect boat to sail in different conditions, learn and have fun.
