The first day is the day of embarkation. We will be on the Island of Milos (the boarding point will be decided a few days before according to the weather conditions). You can board from 3pm. We will sleep in the port or anchorage area where we are and we will decide the plan for the next day among the whole group.
The island of Milos has ferry connections from Athens, as well as flights to the international airport.
The other days we will dedicate to sailing and visiting the area destined for this trip: Island of Milos, province of Laconia in the Peloponnese and Island of Kythira.
On this trip, there is no fixed itinerary marked out, but an area to discover, and we will do it at our own pace, according to what the whole group feels like and the pace set by the weather.
Islands / Some Points of interest on our route:
*Island of Milos: they are part of the well-known Cyclades Islands, but unlike the most famous ones like Mykonos or Santorini, Milos is an island that has managed to maintain its authenticity and where mass tourism has not arrived. Milos has a local flavor, a wide variety of amazing landscapes, with beaches with turquoise blue waters and villages that dye the coast white and blue. It is a place where you can leave the rush behind and enjoy the true island life. The capital of Milos is built on top of a hill. Strolling through its streets we will enjoy its traditional style and its local atmosphere. The Castle of Milos, another of the points where we can get closer and enjoy an incredible sunset.
*The Peloponnese: a region that offers us a great variety of attractions. Crystal clear beaches, mountainous landscapes, picturesque villages, cultural visits, wine and gastronomy tasting, and connection with the history of Greece and local traditions. We will visit some of the highlights of the province of Laconia, such as:
- Monemvasía (Province of Lakonia, Peloponnese): a small town located on an island in the west of the Peloponnese, which we will reach after our journey from Milos. It is connected to the peninsula by a 200-meter causeway. It is a small fortified city, built in the 4th century, 100 meters above sea level. It was one of the most important commercial centers in the Eastern Mediterranean.
- We will travel along the coast of Laconia passing in front of Cape Malea, the second southernmost point of Continental Greece, and we will look for places to anchor and enjoy the sea and nature of this region.
- Elafonisos: a small islet located off the coast of Peloponnese, with incredible white sand beaches and a practically virgin natural environment.
*Kythira Island: It is located south of the Peloponnese, and is part of the Ionian Islands. Traditional houses, numerous churches, remote beaches with crystal clear waters, typical taverns offering Greek specialities. A place where you can enjoy authentic Greek life, visit its villages, walk trails, immerse yourself in its history, relax and let yourself be carried away by a rhythm that does not understand clocks.
Return transfers: From Kythira the best option is to take a flight to Athens or a ferry from Piraeus.
