Our Caribbean sailing adventure begins in lively Le Marin on Martinique.
This French island offers the perfect starting point for our journey through the Lesser Antilles towards the south. In Le Marin we find excellent infrastructure and cheap shopping opportunities for our provisions.
As soon as we cast off, we set course for St. Lucia. The steady trade winds fill our sails and promise exciting days of sailing. We drop anchor in the picturesque Marigot Bay, surrounded by lush greenery. From here we explore the island with its famous Pitons, almost 1000 meter high volcanic cones that are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Further south we reach St. Vincent. In bays such as Wallilabou or Cumberland Bay, which might be familiar to film lovers, we let ourselves be enchanted by the unique atmosphere. Our next destination is the charming island of Bequia, the gateway to the Lesser Grenadines.
This is where the part of the Caribbean begins that brings postcard images to life: turquoise water, small dream islands and powder-white sandy beaches. The islands of the Lesser Grenadines are the epitome of Caribbean dreams: fine sandy beaches, lined with palm trees, washed by turquoise blue water. The lush underwater world invites you to snorkel and dive.
We set sail for the exclusive island of Mustique and then on to the Tobago Cays, a marine reserve of unparalleled beauty. Here we anchor in crystal clear waters, surrounded by coral reefs and uninhabited islands. A highlight of our trip is certainly the lobster dinner on the beach of a deserted island, under the sparkling starry sky of the Caribbean.
Via Union Island and Carriacou we finally approach our final destination, Grenada. The "spice island" welcomes us with the scent of nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves. We drop anchor one last time in the picturesque St. George's Bay and let our journey come to an end. The Caribbean way of life with its rousing music, exotic spices and scents, infectious joie de vivre and relaxed atmosphere will stay with us for a long time.
This one-way trip from Martinique to Grenada promises not only unforgettable sailing experiences, but also a new perspective on life - a feeling of freedom and serenity that lasts far beyond the vacation.

Yacht:
Our beautiful yacht is very fast, large and comfortable. She will cross the Atlantic with the ARC in December and is perfectly prepared.
She is a modern Hanse 575 with 4 double cabins and a skipper's cabin. Each cabin has its own bathroom with electric toilet. Wi-Fi via Starlink, multi media, air conditioning, generator 220 V / 7 KW, (230 V in all cabins) washing machine, bread maker and Nespresso machine.
It has large solar panels, radar, AIS, a watermaker, hydraulic bathing platform and a dinghy with an electric outboard motor. It is fully equipped for safety and navigation and much more, so everything you need to be self-sufficient without having to call at a supply port. A yacht that meets the highest standards for safety, design and comfort.
The sailing characteristics are also outstanding! The Hanse was designed by Vovo ocean racers and is the fastest yacht in its class. Sailing pleasure is guaranteed!
