When it's winter in the north, we sail in warmer latitudes.
We sail between the Canary Islands or from there up to Madeira. We enjoy the days and nights on the Atlantic Ocean with pleasant temperatures, plenty of water, and a feeling of freedom.
The sailing yacht is ideally equipped for this and can be wonderfully steered over the Atlantic waves; even for beginners it is a great experience, and experienced sailors will certainly learn a lot.
We decide which islands and ports we visit along the way depending on the wind and weather. This allows us to make the best use of the local conditions and to make the trip flexible.
On board, you'll be part of the crew and actively involved in daily sailing activities. Depending on your experience, you can participate in maneuvers, navigate, and learn more about weather, seamanship, and sailing on the Atlantic. Basic sailing knowledge is advantageous but not required. Team spirit and a willingness to lend a hand are essential.
February in the Canary Islands is usually pleasantly warm. The northeast trade winds often provide good sailing conditions, while Atlantic swells and the acceleration zones between the islands make the sailing area varied and sometimes challenging.
