We met on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. to introduce ourselves, get settled in the sailboat, do safety briefings and finalize details. Afterwards, we will go to do the joint shopping and the stowage on board among the entire crew. The plan is to set sail that same afternoon when we are ready and the ship is well equipped with water, food and fuel. We will head to Marseille in the south of France, with 187 nautical miles to get there.
Monday at dawn will be the arrival in Marseille, we will request a mooring to rest and supply ourselves with more water, food and fuel, whenever necessary.
On Tuesday, at first light of day, we will head to the island of Corsica, heading south, the Strait of Bonifacio. We will need to travel approximately 162 miles to reach our destination, where we will request a mooring again to be able to rest and supply the necessary supplies. Surely we will arrive early Thursday, it will always depend on the wind and the help it provides us.
Between Thursday and Saturday, we will dedicate our days to exploring coves and places that are worth visiting, that there are many.
On Sunday afternoon, if the weather is favorable, we will head to Barcelona, trying to “afford” the south of France.
We will probably arrive on Thursday afternoon at the Masnou port.
Note: It will always depend on the weather, but we will try to reach Bonifacio.
