Our journey begins along Madeira’s spectacular coastline, known for its ancient laurel forests and awe-inspiring vistas. Departing from Funchal’s bustling harbor, we chart a course northward into the vast expanse of the open ocean.
This voyage takes us upwind, which means we’ll face some resistance from the prevailing winds and waves, adding a touch of challenge to the adventure – but with great rewards. Join in on deck activities, such as knot-tying workshops, a perfect way to learn new skills while connecting with your fellow crew members. Weather permitting, you can climb the mast for unbeatable views or unwind on the bowsprit. Each evening, enjoy a sunset drink on deck as the perfect end to your day.
Our final destination is Lisbon, where we’ll sail up the Tejo River, passing beneath the iconic 25 de Abril Bridge. Once ashore, dive into Lisbon’s rich culture, from its soulful Fado music and historic districts like Alfama to its breathtaking viewpoints. Be sure to visit landmarks such as the Belem Tower and Jerónimos Monastery, both recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
