Menorca Classic Sailing Regatta

We will embark in Mahón to enjoy sailing and prepare for the Vela Clásica Menorca regatta, in the “Spirit of Tradition” category. One week, 6 nights on board.
We will sail in a beautiful and elegant classic schooner, with wooden masts and traditional rigging. Embarking on our small boat and attending the marvelous spectacle of the regatta from the very first row will be an unforgettable experience.

Plan

Monday
Boarding in the port of Mahón. Accommodation on board and safety meeting. Navigation and practice of regatta maneuvers. Anchorage and swim in the chosen cove. Night in port.

Tuesday
Regatta procedures for boat and crew. Training. Night in port.

Wednesday
1st Regatta. Night in port.

Thursday
2nd Regatta. Night in port.

Friday
3rd race. Night in port.

Saturday
4th Regatta. Awards. End of regatta party.

Sunday
Disembarkation at 10:00

Note: for food on board during the regatta, a small common fund is made. Most breakfasts and dinners are made in port, some on behalf of the organization.

Other information

In this type of trip, passengers are expected to actively participate in navigation and on-board tasks: keep watch, steer, cook and help with cleaning or provisioning, always to the extent of each person's ability. .

The exact place of embarkation and disembarkation will be sent to the passengers sufficiently in advance along with the necessary information to contact the ship and consult any questions about the luggage, the journey or the displacement.
