  • Plan
Day 1. The first day will be the boarding day. We will meet in Horta, the capital of the Island of Faial, and the reference center for sailors and adventurers who cross the North Atlantic, and a historical landmark.

The entire crew will meet to study the weather forecast for the following days and plan the route.

In Horta you can visit the old town, and also enjoy wonderful views of Pico Island.

Day 2 to 9. We will tour the different central islands of the Azores archipelago, we will cross to the westernmost ones on the days when we have the most favorable forecast to ensure a comfortable and pleasant journey for everyone.

The journey to cross from the Central Islands to the Western Islands is about 130 nautical miles, so keep in mind that this trip includes at least 2 crossings of about 24 hours. One to go to the Western Islands, another to return.

Day 10. Disembarkation day. The day before we will have arrived again at Faial Island.

Here we leave you the highlights of each of the Islands:

    * Faial Island: Horta is the main town of Faial and a historical landmark. Its port was an important stopover point for transatlantic sailors for centuries.

*Pico Island: the highest mountain in Portugal is located there, at 2,351m. Sailing around the island and seeing how its peak stands out above the sea is incredible.

*Sao Jorge Island: Noted for its cliffs, fajãs (seaside plains) and the Fajana dos Cubres Lagoon.

    * Sao Jorge Island: Noted for its historical and cultural heritage, including the city of Angra do Heroísmo, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

*Flores Island: it is the westernmost of the Azores.
It offers impressive landscapes, waterfalls and volcanic lakes.

*Corvo Island: It is the smallest and least populated of the Azores. It stands out for its volcanic caldera and its natural beauty.

A natural paradise to discover! And we will do it by sailing, from island to island.

***IMPORTANT: Keep in mind that the islands described will be the navigation area through which we will move. The islands we will sail to and visit will depend on the weather forecast, winds and sea conditions and the plan we decide with the whole group. We will choose some of these islands, not all since we would not enjoy the trip and really get to know the area.

More than a sailboat, this boat is a home for us and our guests. It is cozy and with comfortable spaces.
The sailboat is 13.30 meters long. It has 4 cabins. Two of them with a double bed, one with a double bed and an additional bed, and one with 2 bunk beds.
It has a spacious living room inside, a well-equipped kitchen, and 2 bathrooms with a hot shower.

Its outdoor spaces are perfect to enjoy long days at sea. Relax in the bow hanging from a hammock, or sit in the bathtub looking for a bit of shade at lunchtime.

It has been a unique experience, we have learned about navigation and visited incredible places that you can only access by boat. An alternative and active vacation to get to know other places and cultures, avoiding tourist sites. The boat was spotless and very comfortable to live in. Aroa and Carlos are very nice, I will repeat
