Come on an unforgettable adventure in Norway. Take the road less traveled for this experience where you will visit areas more populated by reindeer than humans. We will go night sailing in a place where night never comes. Sail under the midnight sun and experience the raw beauty of Norway.

This experience is extremely laid back and flexible so you can spend your days how you choose. Mix time sailing with basking in the sun and exploring the less populated parts of the area before heading into town for a nice meal of local food. On this trip you will find that the skipper and the new people joining you on board love traveling and going on new adventures just as much as you do! The itinerary is not fixed and the plans are made according to the weather and winds just like real sailors should do!

This trip is unique because the skippers have a great focus on sustainable travel. We will limit plastics on board and collect plastic garbage as well as encourage the group to immerse themselves in the new cultures of these amazing places. Join us on an adventure where you will connect with nature and act like a local, respecting the Earth and the natives at each new spot we anchor. This wonderful experience will open your eyes to new cultures and you will leave it with new friends as well as a new outlook on travel.

Departure from Marina Eidkjosen:
Eidvegen 666 – 9100 Kvaløysletta TROMSØ
Friday 16:00

You will have the opportunity to really learn to sail on this trip. You will learn the curriculum of the RYA Competent Crew course on this adventure so you can be an active member on board!

Known as the "Paris of the North," this city is the largest in Northern Norway. Still with only 75,000 inhabitants you will see a great number of preserved historical homes below the spectacular backdrop of snow-covered mountains.

Harstad is the second and last city we will encounter on the route. Here you can take in the scenery and the towering cliffs on the nearby island. Harstad is a great place for us to stop to rest and enjoy a meal before a "night" of sailing.

This magnificent fjord can only be accessed through a 100 meter opening cut through a cliff. The story goes that a battle was fought here back in 1890 by fisherman for access to the fjord. This is an amazing place to stop for the night, tell stories, and then continue sailing along.

This fishing village deemed the "Venice of the North" is home to some great pizzerias that we will visit for a great meal on land. It consists of a group of islands all connected by bridges and has one of the most famous football fields in the arctic.

Next we will stop by one of the most beautiful villages in Norway, known for its unbelievable mountains and fjords. A hike to the top of Reinebringen will reveal incredible views of the village and the surrounding peaks.

Lastly, we will check out one more important fishing port with much to enjoy including bars, cafes, restaurants and great museums. Do an evening hike to the local mountain called "The Goat" for an incredible view.

This can vary based on what you and your crew want to spend and is based on the scenario that you would mainly cook and eat on board. This cost is to be paid on arrival to the boat.

There is no minimum number of crew members for this trip!

The cabins are always shared (each cabin fits 2 people).

The first language of the skippers in English. Crew members may speak other languages, including Spanish, so keep that in mind when communicating with the rest of the crew.

There may be differences is regards to the size of the boat.

The boat model may also change depending on the number of people signed up for the trip. The boats that we sail are high quality and between 5 and 10 years old (build after 2008): Bavaria, Benetau, Sun Odyssey, Hanse... We always select boats with the best quality/ price relationship, 40 to 50 feet long.

I usually fly solo when traveling, and it never occurred to me to sign up for a package tour. But I took a gamble here and they exceeded my expectations. They have somehow figured out how to get adults to buy into a sincere spirit of group adventure and camaraderie without it ever feeling forced. And obviously, the locations are beautiful, the other people are engaging, the sailing is fun (you'll grow in confidence throughout the week), and it's clear that the Dominick and his team really care about the experience they are creating. You can easily do this trip alone, with friends, or with your significant other. I'm sure I'll sail with them again.

Stop thinking about sailing with them... and just book it. You’ll love it!
Your fellow crew members are a wonderful bunch – and we had the most laid-back skipper ever to roam the Med. The scenery is amazing and varied: you’ll moor-up in a port one night amongst super-yachts then drop anchor the following night in a nearly-deserted bay. You’ll learn so much if you’ve never sailed before, but it’s all really relaxed.
I’m so glad I took the plunge – you will be too.
Maybe see you out there one day soon...

Badly organized trip, old boat not prepared with equipment for the entire crew and unprofessional skipper (untrustworthy, drinking durin the sailing, etc.).
It could have been an excellent week, it's a pity.
