Las Rías Bajas is one of the favorite nautical destinations. A sailing paradise with hundreds of places, such as the Atlantic islands, Cambados and the Albariño Fair, the Roman port of Palmeira, the Massó museum, the former cannery in Bueu, the traditional shipyards, and much more.

  • Plan
    1st Day. Arrival, boarding and coastal navigation to Combarro.

    2nd Day. Aldán estuary, crossing a large part of the Pontevedra estuary. Route to the Cíes to sleep anchored in one of its coves.

    Day 3. We usually continue sailing north, stopping at “Checho” to try its famous octopus stew. We left Ons on port ... and headed for the hidden and wonderful port of Piedras.

    4th Day. Bow towards the Arosa Estuary; to Cambados, the cradle of Albariño, Aguiño and then to Riveira to visit its large and bustling fish market, its port ...

    5th Day. Rianxo and navigation around the island of Arosa.

    6th Day. Puerto Meloxo, the bay, the lighthouse, its paths, its seafood.

    7th Day. Navigation and improvised anchoring on the way to our base port

Other information
All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (spanish)

A common fund, between € 40 and € 60 per person per week, will be made between the crew to meet the costs of food, fuel, buoys, etc.

It is recommended not to carry rigid and wheeled suitcases on boats. They cannot be easily stowed due to space constraints. Bring sports bags. White soled shoes or sneakers.

    A very beneficial course focused on port maneuvers: mooring, approaching the gas station, etc., but also with time to navigate. Luis is a great skipper to learn from. I'll definitely be joining him again!

    Highly recommended. There are no similar experiences. Being a small group, you get a lot out of it. Luis is a professional skipper with a lot of experience, and everything you learn from him is worth its weight in gold.     It was amazing, I really liked everything: the approach to the practices, the number of students, the state of the boat and Luis, a phenomenal, great teacher, patient and with a relaxed and informal tone so that everything is in a very good mood, because in the end this is leisure.
