  • Plan
Day 1. Boarding day on the island of Sao Miguel. The entire crew will meet and study the weather for the next few days to decide the route to follow according to the winds, the state of the sea and the preferences of the entire group.

Days 2 to 8. Days to sail touring the islands of Sao Miguel and Santa Maria and days to organize visits on land and explore their interior.
These days will include the crossing from Sao Miguel to Santa Maria, of 40 nautical miles.

Day 9. Day of navigation from the point where we are, and return to the port.

Day 10. Disembarkation day in Sao Miguel.

    The islands:

*Sao Miguel Island: known as the “Green Island”, São Miguel offers wild nature and volcanic terrain that make it a natural jewel. Lagoa do Fogo (Lake of Fire) is one of the most captivating sights. This lake is located in a volcanic caldera and is surrounded by steep slopes covered with wild flora. Another attraction is the Lagoas das Sete Cidades, its hot springs such as Termas da Ferraria and its black sand beaches such as Santa Bárbara Beach. The main town of Ponta Delgada is famous for its historic architecture.

*The Island of Santa María, also known as the “Yellow Island” or “Sun Island”, is part of the Azores archipelago. Geographically, it belongs to the Eastern Group along with the island of San Miguel. Although it is the third smallest island in terms of size, its warmer and drier climate makes it special. It is the island that concentrates the largest number of streams and the largest waterfall in the country. It is known as the yellow island, the island of the sun, for its extensive sandy beaches of fine sand and for the pleasant and stable climate throughout the year.
