Discover with us the splendid Pontine Islands, a corner of Paradise 30 miles from Neptune.

The holiday is suitable for everyone, both for those who have never been on a boat and for experienced navigators. The important thing is to get on board with adaptability and a spirit of sharing.

The Pontine islands are a pearl of the Mediterranean. With such transparent water, with the colors of an intense blue and green, it is difficult to believe that you are in the Tyrrhenian Sea, close to Rome and the Lazio coast.
They have nothing to envy to the major islands and even to some exotic or Caribbean destinations. Several guests have compared Palmarola to Phi Phi Island! Jacques-Yves Cousteau himself defined it as "the most beautiful island in the Mediterranean" ... seeing is believing!

Both Ponza and the smaller Palmarola have volcanic origin. Their coasts are characterized by high walls, which draw spectacular scenarios, but which, under the constant effect of the wind, the sea and the rain, have become very brittle. The small beaches below are mostly inaccessible from the ground for safety reasons. Some are accessible only via uncomfortable paths, others are accessible only by sea. The sailing boat is therefore the best way to experience these wonderful islands, whose bays at sunset are emptied of daily tourists and are transformed into truly magical places.

We look forward to welcoming you on board!

Plan
The appointment is in the early afternoon of Monday. Once on board, you will become familiar with the boat through a short briefing and arrange your luggage in the cabins. As soon as we are ready to leave with full tanks and the galley stowed, we will leave the moorings for Palmarola or Ponza, where we will arrive after about 5/6 hours of navigation. During the crossing we will define together the rough itinerary based on the weather and sea conditions and your preferences.

We will visit beautiful bays such as Cala Spermaturo, Cala Brigantina or Cala del Porto in Palmarola or Cala Feola (where there are natural pools), Lucia Rosa, Chiaia di Luna or Arco Naturale in Ponza.

For those who simply want to relax, Ponza and Palmarola offer different bays and views for every day of the week. But if the crew is more sporty and adventurous there is plenty of time to go also to Ventotene (3/4 hours of navigation from Ponza) where we will moor in the suggestive Porto Romano, dug entirely in the tuff.

It will be a week dedicated to nature and relaxation, with aperitifs at sunset, dinners under the stars and nights at anchor lulled by the waves. The movements will be pushed by the wind as much as possible, so whoever wants to can get closer to the world of sailing or improve their boat management. Those who just want to relax with a good book or sunbathe can do it, the important thing is that everything is done with education and respect for others.

Who will be able to delight us with tasty dishes is certainly welcome! The galley is open to anyone who wants to use it… and the crew will surely thank you! But fear not: as a rule, those who cook don't wash the dishes!

Whether you have never been on a boat, whether you are an expert sailor, a week on a sailing boat, in addition to being regenerative, will give you emotions, fun and relaxation. And you can't wait to get back on board!

The boat
Built by the French shipyard Beneteau and designed by Group Finot, the 411 is one of the best-selling and most popular series models in the cruise world due to its comfort and ease of maneuver, especially with a small crew.

The living spaces are very comfortable, both on deck and below deck.

In just over 12 meters there are 4 large double cabins (3 double and 1 with bunk beds), 2 bathrooms, a generous dinette with kitchen complete with double sink, large cockpit refrigerator, double burners and oven. Outside the cockpit, with cushions and a fixed central table, is very welcoming and spacious. It is protected from sun and spray by the canopy and the large bimini. The large stern platform and the folding ladder offer agile and comfortable access to the sea, as well as a very comfortable and safe access to the tender. On the platform there is also a hand shower with hot / cold water for a shower at the end of the day. Towards the bow, the deck offers many spaces to live both in navigation and in the harbor.

The overall capacity is 10 people (8 in the cabins + 2 in the dinette where the table turns into a double bed). However, to offer more comfort to guests, we will board a maximum of 6 people who will sleep in 3 double cabins, while the crew will occupy the fourth cabin.
