XXXVI Peñón de Ifach Trophy. Calpe - Formentera

XXXVI IFACH ROCK TROPHY. CALPE - FORMENTERA - CALPE.

We are going to participate in the "TROFEO PEÑÓN DE IFACH" Regatta in its XXXVI edition, which has been held since 1989. It will take place in the waters of Calpe (Alicante) and Formentera, and is organized by the Real Club Náutico Calpe, with the authorization of the Sailing Federation of the Valencian Community and the support of the Balearic Sailing Federation. A level 1 cruiser regatta, being the Autonomous High Seas Championship.

We will sail the First 40.7 over an approximate distance of 63 nautical miles. To participate in this regatta you must have a racing license. If you do not have one, we can arrange one for you at a cost of €20 for this regatta only.

It is a good opportunity to start or take part in a long distance regatta. The dates are very good and the destination is unbeatable, the Island of Formentera. You will have Friday free to explore the Island.

Plan

FIRST DAY, Wednesday:

10am – 8pm Crossing from Alicante to Calpe.
20:30 h. Reception of the rest of the sailors. Optional with a supplement of €50.

SECOND DAY, Thursday:

10:00 a.m. Departure of the 1st race from Calpe to Formentera.

THIRD DAY, Friday:

Rest day in Formentera.

9:30 p.m. Award ceremony for the 1st round.

FOURTH DAY, Saturday:

10:00 a.m. Departure of the 2nd race from Formentera to Calpe.
21:00 h. End of the XXXVI PEÑÓN DE IFACH TROPHY.

FIFTH DAY, Sunday:

10:30 a.m. Return trip from Calpe to Alicante. Optional with a supplement of €50.

All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (spanish)

☆ To participate in this race you must have the race license to participate, if you do not have it we can process it with a cost of € 20 only for this race.

☆ It is recommended to bring a sleeping bag.

It has been a very positive and interesting experience. Carlos is a very experienced skipper and also very pedagogical. Very attentive to everyone. We were only able to do it on Saturday and with a lot of wind. On Sunday we couldn't go out because of the storm. I hope they return the proportional amount to me.
