Adventure offered by Paula

9 days
Contact
Discover the Caribbean sailing through Martinique, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines!

For 9 days we will experience an adventure aboard the sailboat, sailing between paradisiacal islands, taking advantage of the trade winds and combining sailing, mooring in turquoise waters, snorkeling, beaches and land exploration.

We will depart from Le Marin (Martinique) to the South Antilles, where we can discover places such as Bequia, Mayreau, Tobago Cays, Union Island or Petit Saint Vincent. The route will be flexible and will adapt to the weather and the crew's desire to explore.

It is not a conventional tourist trip, but rather an authentic experience of sailing and life on board. You will participate in maneuvers, route planning, navigation and everyday tasks, sharing the adventure with other people who are passionate about the sea.

You don't need previous experience. Whether you want to learn how to sail or if you simply dream of discovering the Caribbean from the sea, this trip is for you!

We will sail aboard a comfortable 16-meter Jeanneau 54, equipped for ocean navigation, with Víctor, our professional skipper.

9 days to sail, explore, learn and enjoy the Caribbean from a different perspective.

Cruise program · 9 days in the Caribbean.

DAY 1 · Boarding in Martinique.

We will meet at 10:00am in Le Marin (Martinique), where we will board.

We will meet the rest of the crew, distribute the cabins and make a presentation of the ship, its equipment and safety regulations.

We will jointly organize the purchase of supplies, the stowage and the initial planning of the route, taking into account the weather forecast.

DAYS 2—4 · Sailing to the South Antilles.

We let go of moorings! We will head south taking advantage of the Caribbean trade winds.

Depending on the conditions, we can sail around Santa Lucía, San Vicente and Bequia, combining sailing days with stops to anchor, swim, explore the islands and enjoy life on board.

We will participate in maneuvers, sail trimming, navigation and guards, always adapting the tasks to the experience of each crew member.

DAYS 5—6 · Exploring the Grenadines.

We will continue to discover the islands and anchorages of the Grenadines. Places like Mayreau, Tobago Cays, Union Island, Petit Saint Vincent or Carriacou may be part of our route.

Here we will combine sailing between islands, snorkeling, bathing in turquoise waters, land trips and moments of rest in some of the most special anchorages in the Caribbean.

The idea is to enjoy each place without haste, taking advantage of the opportunities offered by the wind and the sea.

DAYS 7—8 · Sailing back to Martinique.

We will start our return to the north, organizing the stages according to weather conditions and pending distances.

We will continue sailing, learning and sharing life on board, with the possibility of making new stops and anchorages along the way.

DAY 9 · Disembark at Le Marin.

We will finish our adventure in Le Marin (Martinique), with disembarkation scheduled around 12:00 p.m.

After nine days of sailing, new places discovered and shared experiences, it's time to say goodbye!

    Important about the itinerary:

    - This program is indicative and does not constitute a closed route. The islands mentioned are possible destinations, but they are not guaranteed.

    - The weather, the state of the sea and safety will determine the stages, the anchorages and the places we will visit.

    - Our goal is not to visit as many islands as possible, but to enjoy an authentic Caribbean sailing experience, combining adventure, learning, exploration and living together on board.

The Caribbean awaits us and the wind will lead the way!

Boat details

Our floating home.

A sailboat that sails really well, designed to experience the sea in comfort both at anchor and when sailing.

I chose it because it is a sailboat designed to sail far away, live in comfort and enjoy both a Mediterranean cove and an ocean voyage such as the Antarctic crossing.

Suitable for tall people! The ceiling of 2 meters and its 16 meters in length offers a lot of space, and this is highly valued on board: the cabins are spacious and the beds (approximately two meters long) separated from each other, so you can sleep comfortably without touching your neighbor.

It is a very stable and pleasant sailboat to sail. It does not shorten too much, it is not nervous and has a high freeboard, which provides a lot of security if there are waves. It transmits confidence even to those who embark for the first time and behaves especially well both on coastal navigation and on longer voyages.

Sailing tends to sail between 7 and 8 knots with ease, but what we value most is not so much the speed, but how well one lives on board.

The interior is bright, ventilated and has large common areas where you can share meals, conversations, open the nautical chart or simply rest after sailing.

The bathtub is probably one of the favorite places for those who board, we spend most of our time here either sailing or relaxing. Large, protected and very comfortable for sailing, socializing, reading, eating or contemplating the sea. In summer, many even prefer to sleep under the stars on the deck because the central area in the bathtub literally measures like a bed 90 cm by 1.8 m wide.

On board you'll find:

⛵ 5 double cabins

4 bathrooms

3 refrigerators and freezer

Large swimming platform

Paddle surf

Snorkel equipment

Large library specialized in sea and navigation

Hammock for moments of calm

And a lot of small details designed for something we love: spending long periods living and sailing at sea.

Because, more than a ship, it's the place from which we share adventures, learning, voyages and a different way of traveling.

My third meeting and like the previous ones, I loved it. The presentation on meteorology is especially interesting and highlights the coexistence with other navigators. This year, coinciding with Escala a Castelló, it has been fantastic to be able to visit the talllships and other ships.
