Classic gulet cruise from Calais to Lorient

Sailing in a classic gulet from Calais to Lorient: we will leave the port of Calais behind until we reach Lorient.
We will sail on a ship built in 1917 where you will have the opportunity to use the navigation techniques of that time. You will receive training about navigation, the use of charts, sails, knots, etc., and you will feel all the good things about sailing on a classic boat like ours.

Departing from the port of Calais and arriving at the port of Lorient, this journey lasts 3 days, corresponding to 450 nautical miles.

It will be an unforgettable voyage along the French sea coast heading towards the cold waters of the French coast towards the city of Lorient. We will sail through the Celtic sea, leaving Great Britain very close in our wake.

The organization on board will be guided by one of our crew members on board. There will be: breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner as well as snacks throughout the day.

There is no minimum number of crew members, we will make the journey safe.

You will sail in an original ship and different from the boats that run through our waters today. During the first years of life, the pailebote was dedicated to the export of fruits, salt and general cargo, both in Mediterranean ports and anchorages, as well as on the north and west coast of Africa. It is 34 meters long, 8 meters wide, 3 meters deep and has a total surface area of 415 square meters.
