Cadiz → Canary Islands → Cape Verde → Martinique.
The route will take place in stages, always adapting to the weather and ocean conditions.
1. Cadiz → Canary Islands.
Departure from Cádiz to the Canary Islands.
It will be our first stage of deep-sea navigation, making contact with the ship and establishing the guard system and the ocean navigation routine.
2. Canary Islands → Cape Verde.
From the Canary Islands we will sail to Cape Verde, taking advantage of the prevailing winds to move south.
In Cape Verde we will make a stopover to rest, supply the boat and prepare for the most important stage of the journey.
3. Cape Verde → Martinique.
The great stage of the trip.
We will leave Cape Verde behind to enter the Atlantic and sail to the Caribbean following the trade winds.
It
will be approximately 2,000 nautical miles of ocean navigation, during which we will have no land in sight for several days.
Our destination will be Martinique, in the heart of the Caribbean.
