Experience a true Atlantic crossing from St. Maarten to Málaga – the great adventure of bluewater sailing!
We are sailing across the North Atlantic in our large and fast Hanse 575.
We follow the classic northern route, letting the weather guide us, and make legendary stops like Bermuda, the Azores, and Lisbon before reaching our destination, Málaga. You can expect challenging navigation, night passages, team spirit, and the vibrant onboard life of an experienced Atlantic crew.
We are currently in the planning phase and are assembling a crew that not only sails well but also gets along well personally. It's important to us that the group on board really fits together – that's why we conduct a personal interview with all interested parties.
Our yacht has already successfully participated in the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC) and meets all the safety requirements of this sailing rally. It is therefore equipped and certified for transatlantic crossings according to the highest international standards.
Our Hanse 575 is a true bluewater yacht – built for life and travel on the sea. We sail with warm and welcoming people, discovering the world together and experiencing real boat life: sun, wind, saltwater, little adventures, and the feeling of truly discovering something together as a crew. Galini is at home on the sea and is usually far from her home port on Poros. You'll become part of life on board.
Things won't always go according to plan – sometimes something breaks down or the weather changes our course – but that's precisely what makes it authentic. We'd also love to show you the technology on board, and you can participate in all activities – from navigating and steering to cooking and even working on the technical aspects. It's not just a cruise, but a true sense of community, genuine experiences, and the magic of the sea.
Our adventure begins in St. Maarten. After boarding, a thorough safety briefing, and provisioning together, we'll use the time to get to know the crew and prepare the ship.
Once everything is ready, we'll set sail for Bermuda. Depending on the weather and crew, we'll make a stop in Hamilton – perfect for restocking supplies, going ashore, and a technical check. After that, we'll head for the Azores, navigating shifting winds, working in a watch system, trimming sails, monitoring the weather, cooking together, and bonding as a crew. Weather permitting, we'll enjoy shore excursions and European culture in the Azores and later in Lisbon. The journey concludes after the final leg along Spain's Costa del Sol in the port of Málaga.
