El curso de Operador Restringido del SMSSM está dirigido a Capitanes y oficiales que desempeñen labores de navegación de buques acogidos al Sistema Mundial de Socorro.
Con este título podrás ejercer funciones de Radio Operador en la zona de navegación A1.
Este certificado es emitido por la Dirección General de la Marina Mercante (DGMM) y tiene una validez de 5 años.
Los únicos requisitos para obtener el certificado son tener mas de 18 años (16 con autorización paterna) y un certificado médico realizado por el Instituto Social de la Marina.

El curso consta de 15 horas teóricas y 25 horas de prácticas, todas ellas presenciales en la escuela de Sevilla.

- Procedimientos operacionales y operacion detallada de los sistemas SMSSM, Sistema Mundial de Socorro y Seguridad Marítima.
