Learn to sail a sailboat on your own, feeling safe and prepared to do all the maneuvers.

There are many people who, after obtaining a nautical qualification, never sail because they do not have the necessary ease to do so with confidence. If you feel in this situation, this course is for you!

We will get to the point, 100% practical, we will practice the maneuvers you need, whether inside the port (docking and undocking), or sailing maneuvers (Tacking, jibing, understanding how sails work, etc...)

The idea is that you can do everything guided by an instructor who will tell you how to proceed. And as many times as you need until you feel safe. It is an ideal course if you are learning or have just obtained a nautical qualification and your goal is to be able to sail a rented or owned sailing boat.

Plan

For 8 hours and on board a Sun Odyssey 42, you will be able to practice all the maneuvers you need with a private sailing instructor, for you.

This course does not have a specific program. As it is a private course, it will be 100% adapted to your level and needs.

The idea is that when you finish the class you feel better able to rent a boat on your own or take your own boat or that of an acquaintance.

The schedule can be adapted to the interest of the student, always subject to the availability of the boat and instructor (check your dates and times of interest to confirm).

Other information

The course consists of 8 hours during a day. It is a private course for only one person, but if you want to bring companions, you can do it, up to a maximum of four people on board (not counting the instructor).

If you are interested in the course lasting more than one day, contact privately to agree on a price, depending on the days to be reserved.

Meals and drinks on board will be at the student's expense. The instructor must be taken into account for the food and drink carried on board. If the student prefers, a break can be made during the 8 hours to eat in port.

Hello, these practices would be valid to validate the hours for sailing habilitation for the PER

In order for sailing qualification practices to be certified, it is necessary to reserve at least two days of the course, since the regulations require a minimum of 16 hours, with a maximum of 8 hours per day. By doing it private in addition to the official program you will practice much more and it will help you to obtain the certificate and gain much more fluency.

- It is a difficult question, it depends on the previous level of each one and there are those who need more or less time to feel safe. The first day you may realize how much you need.
