We will meet at 10:30 in the morning to start the course. The meeting point is the Marina Deportiva de Alicante.
This departure is part of a regular schedule of sailings so that sailors with little experience in cruise sailing can hone their skills and gain experience until they feel safe sailing on their own.
Therefore, the objective is to make the most of the departure to carry out maneuvers, review aspects of preparation before going sailing, a checklist for reviewing the boat (very useful if you are going to rent sailing boats), gain confidence with sailing maneuvers, rotating through the different roles of the boat, using electronic navigation tools and also, enjoying sailing and sharing experiences with the instructor and the rest of the crew.
The navigation will take place through the bay of Alicante. Depending on the weather forecast, we will adapt the course to make the most of the day. For example, if there is no wind or there are very bad seas, we can practice maneuvers in port, moorings or use boat equipment.
The return to the port will be around 18:30 in the afternoon approximately.
To optimize the day and not have to stop to eat, all participants are recommended to bring their own food, appetizer and drinks on board. The boat has a refrigerator, a kitchen and there is water, coffee maker and coffee on board.
