Sail 1 day and learn around the Ría de Vigo

We sail along the Ría de Vigo to discover its islands, beaches and coves for a day: San SIMón Island, Cíes Islands, Playa de Barra, Liméins, Isla de Toralla, Playa de Samil, etc.

Whoever wants to participate in the maneuvers and handling of the sailboat will learn about sail trimming, headings and sailing techniques.

The objective is to visit two or three places in the estuary and during the route see aspects of navigation and handling of the sailboat.

And if you prefer to simply relax and enjoy sailing, you can also do it on a very comfortable and spacious sailboat.

Plan

- 9:30 a.m.: We board at the Vigo Marina
- 10:00 a.m.: We set sail and learn the contents on board
- 2:00 p.m.: Anchoring to eat/swim
- 3:00 p.m.: We continue with the workshop, browsing and learning
- 8:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.: We disembark at the Vigo Marina

On board there will be water and some soft drinks and some snacks (potatoes, nuts, etc.), but bring your picnic food and whatever drink you want.

This course is taught in spanish. You must have a sufficient level of this language to be able to follow the course.

Boat details

The Elan 45 sailboat is very spacious both on deck and in the kitchen area, living room and cabins. It has two double cabins and one with a double bunk. Two bathrooms, one in the common area and one in the bow bathroom.
Wide bimini for anchoring, and easy to fold during navigation to see the sails well and maneuver.
Very good navigation with little wind and easy handling in more demanding navigations.
