An ideal day for those who are starting out in recreational boating and want to sail safely and calmly or for those who want to spend a day sailing.

The activity takes place with boarding at the Real Club Náutico de Valencia.

For 7 hours we will practice everything necessary to make you feel comfortable on board:

• Maneuvers in port.

• Use of the radio.

• Safety on board.

• Orientation and directions.

• Trimmed.

• Knots.

• Anchorage.

    Schedule: 11:00 — 18:00.

    Venue: Real Club Náutico de Valencia.



    We will start with a review of essential concepts and safety material. Then we will learn to move inside the dock, driving the sailboat for short distances.



    Later we will go out to the open sea: higher up, Genoa out and sailing. We will practice turns, fades, mooring, sailing in the air, heading at different angles and trimming sails.



    We will return to the Real Club Náutico de Valencia around 6pm.

Boat details

Dufour GibSea 41 sailboat, 12.5 meters long and 4 meters wide, designed by the prestigious naval architect Michel Joubert. Built with ocean category A, by the French shipyard Dufour GibSea, it is a robust, fast and very comfortable sailboat.

Enrolled on the 6th list (charter and school), he is ready for Zone 2, (60 miles) and has all the documents in order, including passenger and civil liability insurance. All safety equipment is approved and certified.
