Period: March 5, 2027, 5:00 PM to March 14, 2027, 10:00 AM (9 days)
Start: San Miguel, Tenerife
Destination: Quinta do Lorde, Madeira
On board, we sail using a watch system, and everyone is actively involved. Navigation, weather observation, and sailing maneuvers are carried out by the respective watch. This leaves plenty of time to find your own rhythm at sea, experience the starry sky, and, with a bit of luck, observe dolphins or whales.
Sailing experience is helpful, but not required. More important are team spirit, reliability, and a willingness to actively participate in life on board. This trip is suitable for anyone who wants to gain their first offshore sailing experience, log nautical miles, or deepen their practical knowledge.
In March, the climate around the Canary Islands and Madeira is like an eternal spring. The trade winds and their associated wave system are challenging, so the exact sailing plan depends on the prevailing conditions.
Sailing takes place on a 43-foot Beneteau Oceanis. The yacht has three double cabins and one cabin with bunk beds, providing ample space and comfort for several days at sea. Final cleaning and linen washing are handled by the crew.
