Basic PER Practices (Safety and Navigation) in Sotogrande (Cádiz)

Official Navigation and Safety Practices for obtaining the title of Pleasure Boat Skipper or PER.

The duration will be the stipulated one of 16 hours. We will carry out the internship from Sotogrande, reviewing the various security protocols in port and sea:

Safety, ship preparation and voyages (meteorology) and navigation systems.

Vessel maintenance.

Care for the sea pollution.

Moorings and Anchorages

Guards in the Sea.

Patron Decisions.

Safety maneuvers.

Radiocommunication communication via VHF and LSD.

Remember that this is one of the three requirements to obtain the PER. In addition to doing these internships, you will also have to take the Short Range Radio Operator course and pass the official theoretical exam.

Learn and get your certificate at an affordable price, not because it's cheap it has less quality.

Plan

The practice will take place over two days, 8 hours each day.

From 09:00 to 13:00 and From 14:00 to 18:00 Saturday

From 8:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 17:00 Sunday

The first part will take place at the Port and Beaches to increase your confidence in the maneuvers.

The second part will take place in Mediterranean waters, delving into real situations.

We will do a general review of all the elements of the ship and we will handle all those that will make you feel safe at sea.

We will do blind navigation practices using radars, both digital and analog.

Other information

This course is taught in spanish. You must have a sufficient level of this language to be able to follow the course.
