Make the official practices in Valencia Official training practices for sailing, in a large oceanic ship and with a very attractive route, with a night crossing and performing the guard students at all times.

With the completion of this practice, you can govern sailboats if you are in possession of the degrees of PNB, PER, Yacht Master or Captain of Yacht.
Once this practice is done, it will be valid for all degrees.

The official practices in our sailboat are not for a walk, nor a procedure, they are serious, enjoyable and instructive, where the program set for obtaining official certification is taught and in addition, many skills are acquired as a competent Skipper.

The regulations establish that this practice must have a minimum duration of 16 hours, but on our sailboat they last 24 hours and are made on a journey 120 miles sailing from Valencia to Cabo de la Nao and back to Valencia, in a large oceanic ship of 16 meters like this, well equipped and cozy.

Internships are taught by Carlos, Professional Skipper of Recreational Boats, with many miles traveled, good trainer and passionate about his work.

This sailboat is not just any ship, it has a long and deserved reputation for its long ocean voyages and the experience and good work of Toni and Carlos, their 2 skipper.

Our sailboat has trained more than three thousand five hundred patrons.

We will develop the official program of Official Sailing Qualification Practices in crossing of 24 hours and 120 miles, in the direction of Cabo de la Nao.
We will set sail from Valencia towards Cullera. We will go up the Júcar river, to the Cullera Nautical Club. We will continue towards Cabo de San Antonio. We will anchor between Cabo de San Antonio and Cabo de la Nao. We will return back to Valencia.

We will recognize the sailboat, rigged in a cutter, with main, genoa and setsail, lifting and lowering maneuvers of the sails, principles of sailing, tacking ahead and round, maneuvers when the wind picks up.
Each student will review the critical points of the boat and the checklist before setting sail. Calculation of fuel, water and food. It will prepare the route, checking very well on the routes and on the nautical charts the navigation area, the dangers, the anchorages and the shelters. We will study the weather predictions to choose the best route and the recommended anchorages.
We will see the safety equipment, the use of self-inflating vests, harnesses and lifelines.
We will make landfall during the day and at night, identifying the dangers and choosing the best anchorage.

The boat
This sailboat was designed in the Iñigo Echenique naval engineering cabinet. It is a comfortable and functional sailboat, built to sail in any sea and for its passengers to enjoy great comfort and safety in all its spaces.

Length: 16.1 meters.
Beam: 4.6 meters.
Capacity: 9/11 passengers (plus a skipper).
Displacement: 19 tons.
Engines: 2 turbo diesel engines of 110 HP each.
Bow thruster.
Electricity on board: 12 and 220 volts. We carry Solar Plates.
Vedic surface: 175 m (Major, Genoa and Trinqueta)
Water: 2,400 liters.
Diesel: 1,400 liters. As we are concerned about safety, the hull of our sailboat is made of steel, the material preferred by oceanic navigators for its maximum strength and safety.

When the most common in the entire fleet of rental boats is to carry an engine, we carry 2 engines, to increase safety when we sail. When the boat was designed, we took it very seriously that the boat was very safe and having 2 propellers gave it great safety. When there is no wind the boat only sails with one engine but has the other one in case it needs more power and having 2 engines prevents the boat from being stopped due to a breakdown.

It is also common in rental boats that have very low capacity water and diesel fuel tanks. In the sailboat we seek maximum comfort for the crew, so our autonomy of water and diesel is more than double that of the sailboats of this length.
