The titulín allows to govern pleasure boats of up to 6 meters in length , only during the day and at a maximum distance of 2 miles from the coast. In addition, it also enables to carry jet skis without power limit.

When obtaining the nautical degree , certain requirements must be met:

1. Be of legal age or have reached the age of 16 and submit parental or guardian authorization to the nautical school.
2. Attend a two-hour theoretical course at an official nautical school.
3. Carry out the 4-hour safety and navigation practices on a boat from an approved nautical school.
4. Pass a very simple psycho-technical test .

The cost of the degree varies depending on the location of the school, the boat used for safety and navigation practices, the season of the year in which you want to do it and the number of students per instructor.
