With this Basic Training course in Maritime Safety that we teach in an academy in Ibiza, you will obtain the corresponding official STCW certificate, which will enable you to work on board a ship. Upon completing the 70-hour course (45 theoretical and 25 practical), you will obtain the approved certificate.
The course is aimed at all people who exercise professional maritime functions on civil ships (merchant such as proven yachts), in addition to those who are entrusted with safety or pollution prevention tasks related to ship operations. This course will train students to understand emergency situations on board and react to them by immediately applying procedures and actions that minimize possible dangers in matters of fire fighting, rescue, survival and accident prevention.
