Get in Palma de Mallorca the official STCW certificate of Basic Training in Maritime Safety, with which you can work on board a ship. Take this course, which is 70 hours long (45 theoretical and 25 practical) and upon completion you will be in a position to obtain the official and approved certificate.

The course is aimed at anyone who exercises professional maritime functions on civil ships (merchant ships such as proven yachts), as well as those who are entrusted with security or pollution prevention tasks related to ship operations. Students will be trained to learn about emergency situations on board and react to them by immediately applying procedures and actions that minimize possible dangers in matters of fire fighting, rescue, survival and accident prevention.
