Las Palmas (Canary Islands) - Mindelo (Cape Verde) approximately 850 nautical miles
After meeting your crew and finalizing your sailing plan, we'll set off for six days at sea. Throughout the voyage, I'll train you so you can become independent in all positions (helmsman, crew, mainsail and genoa).
Your journey will be marked by clocks and time, all in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Mindelo - Le Marin (Martinique) (approximately 1,900 nautical miles)
The maritime adventure continues for some, just beginning for others. A transatlantic race holds many surprises, and there's no shortage of things to do. Between weather updates, the daily boat check, position calculations, storm forecasts, sail adjustments, DIY activities, fishing, contemplating sunrises and sunsets, observing marine life... and here you are in the Antilles.
Thus ends a beautiful human adventure of about 3 weeks around a small rum in the shade of the coconut palms.
It will most likely take a few days to get into the rhythm of the shifts, and to steer in a rough sea, but then there are the starry nights or the moon that lights up the wake and you feel like you're flying, things that make the tiredness go away and the desire to arrive goes away.
The rest will be done by the company, the sea, if you're lucky fishing, and moments of relaxation outside of your shift where you can get lost gazing at the ocean.
We calculate about €600/person of common fund for food and fuel
The outward crossing is a unique experience that offers so much from a personal and human point of view.
