Sailing trip through the South of France from Barcelona

Journey to the south of France from Port del Masnou, aboard a sailboat. It will take 7 to 8 days of route, one day is left due to unforeseen weather events.

The Masnou---Cap d'Agde in Camargue---Ille du Frioul/Pointe de Carrou---Marseilla---Visit Cheateau d'If and then return via Séte, for an oyster tasting dinner. We returned to Palamós and Port de Masnou.

The south of France and its villages, in addition to Marseille, have a special charm that should be visited in summer. And, if it's aboard a sailboat like ours, much better.

Plan

Departure at 12:00 p.m. We'll see you in Port de Masnou to head to France, where we'll stop at Cap d'Agde, and also visit Ille du Frioul/ Pointe de Carrou, with the objective of getting to Marseille, and being able to visit the city.

Visit the Castle of If, where the Count of Monte Cristo, a fictional character, was held together with Abbot Faria. It is an essential visit. We will make some coves if time allows.

Back, stop in Séte, to visit the city and the famous canal that springs there. We will do an oyster tasting dinner on board the sailboat.

Next stop possibly in Palamós, and then to finish arriving at Port del Masnou.

Other information

All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (catalan, english, french and spanish)

We will make a 250 euro boat for the expenses of food and drinks on board, moorings and fuel.

Hello, I am Domingo, PPER or professional captain, I have been sailing for many years, I have owned several sailboats, and I also teach nautical classes. The sailboat is fully equipped to navigate the Mediterranean, with AIS, radar, radio beacon, life raft for 10 people, autopilot, solar panel. Approved to navigate in zone 2 60 miles from the coast. Sailboat completely restored with new ropes and sails. Kitchen and refrigerator, and consists of four double cabins and two bathrooms.
