In general, the Atlantic crossing will take a 20 days
Our voyage begins from Bahamas, to Azores Islands with Bermuda stop over total distance of sailing 2000 Nautical Miles.
ACTIVITIES:
1. During all voyage interested crew will learn how to:
- set a sails
- remove sails
- read a weather forecast and weather maps
- maneuver with the sails
- maneuver on the engine
- work with nautical maps(plot ships posn, make a passage plan, etc)
- act in emergency situations(man overboard, smoke/fire on board, heavy weather sailing/motoring)
- use yacht systems and equipment properly (marine philosophy)
- use rescue and emergency equipment(Life raft, Safety Jacket, EPIRB, PLB, Fire rockets and flares, etc. )
- tide a marine knots
- catch a baby tuna ;) lol, just kidding, it's pure luck when you trolling, but if you do it right it will come unexpectedly, just be prepared)
- how to play "crocodile game" ;) it so
Much fun especially when the group 5-6 ppl)
