It will be about 20 days of crossing making a stopover in Cape Verde.
The stay on the island of Mindelo in Cape Verde will be 1 day, enough to feed ourselves and get to know the island.

It is usually a very comfortable navigation with winds by the fin and the current that propel us towards the Caribbean.
It is usually a pure sailing journey with winds between 15 and 20 knots.

Important: There is no specific arrival date and we can change the arrival port if the weather requires it.

Additional information
We will sail on a 50 foot sailboat very well equipped and duly adapted to ocean navigation. The captain of the ship and part of the crew have extensive ocean experience, in addition to all the electronic navigation and safety instruments, the ship has a new engine.

The ship has 5 cabins, 3 bathrooms and a magnificent salon with a fully equipped kitchen. We will share the Iridium satellite phone voucher with unlimited reception of calls. We will also have unlimited email and fresh water thanks to a reverse osmosis equipment.

All sailors who so wish will be able to participate in the daily navigation and maintenance routines.
You can come to Tenerife a week before and enjoy the island while we prepare for the journey. In this way we can participate in the purchase of the necessary supplies that is not included in the price, and we will pay all at cleavage. We will have a food freezer, so we can bring all kinds of food, in addition, we can participate in our culinary qualities (whoever has them and so wishes). On our boat, the aperitif at 12:00 is mandatory.

Atlantic crossings are an adventure and it is necessary to assume that we will be far from any external help, always depending on elements that we cannot control, such as contrary winds, breakdowns and other conditions that may influence our planned schedule and itinerary. The initial idea is to arrive in the BVI (British Virgin Islands) although this decision will depend on many factors.

On the previous occasions the crossing has not lasted more than twenty days, including a stopover in Cape Verde.
Additionally, once in the American islands, we will sail between them for as long as we can.
For this it is important that flexible dates are available. In almost all the islands that we will visit there are international airports with daily flights to Europe.
