Day 1: Arrival at the boat, at the Club Náutico de Castellón at 7:00 a.m. Accommodation in the cabins and safety briefing on board, we will distribute the work, we set sail at 9:00 a.m. and begin the theoretical navigation course that will last all morning. In the afternoon, navigation practices, identification of the rigging and safe handling of the ropes.
Day 2: Navigation. Putting into practice the theory learned the previous day. In the evening, astronomy session.
Day 3: Navigation. Practice stopping the boat under sail (putting the boat to the dock). Person overboard drill.
Day 4: End of the crossing to Sardinia. Arrival at Spiaggia La Pelosa, one of the most beautiful and famous beaches on the island, located near the town of Stintino, in the northwestern tip of the island. This beach is known for its fine white sand and its crystal-clear turquoise waters. Here we will drop anchor, have dinner, listen to karaoke and listen to the voices of the passengers and go to sleep.
Day 5: We will begin our journey in Porto Torres, a port city located on the shores of the Gulf of Asinara. It is one of the main gateways to the island, thanks to its port, which connects Sardinia with other parts of Italy and Europe. Founded as a Roman colony in the 1st century BC, the city combines a rich history, coastal scenery and a vibrant cultural life. Highlights of Porto Torres include the Basilica of San Gavino, one of the most important monuments in Porto Torres and in all of Sardinia. This Romanesque church, built between the 11th and 12th centuries, is the largest on the island and stands out for its austere and majestic architecture. It houses the relics of Saints Gavino, Proto and Gianuario, patron saints of the city. Afterwards, we will go to Castelsardo. Here we will anchor, swim and have lunch. In the afternoon we will go to Santa Teresa Gallura, a charming seaside town located at the northern tip of Sardinia, just opposite the Strait of Bonifacio, which separates it from Corsica. It is known for its spectacular coastal scenery and white sandy beaches. Here we will anchor to swim, have dinner, sing and sleep.
Day 6: In the morning, we will head to Isola Budelli where we will see the Spiaggia Rosa, one of the most iconic jewels of the La Maddalena Archipelago, in the north of Sardinia, famous for its pink sand. This special colour comes from fragments of shells, corals and microorganisms, such as the foraminifera “Miniacina miniacea”, which mix with the sand. We will then go around Isola Spargi, one of the most beautiful islands of the La Maddalena Archipelago. It is famous for its unspoiled landscapes, white sandy beaches and crystal-clear turquoise waters, making it an essential destination for lovers of nature and the sea. Spargi is an uninhabited island protected as part of the La Maddalena Archipelago National Park. Its terrain is mountainous and covered with Mediterranean vegetation, such as thickets of myrtle, juniper and low shrubs. Here we will anchor and sleep.
Day 7: In the morning we will head to Porto Pozzo, a quiet and picturesque seaside town in northern Sardinia, situated between Santa Teresa Gallura and Palau. It is known for its beautiful natural harbour, its relaxed atmosphere and its proximity to some of the region's most notable attractions and the Strait of Bonifacio. Porto Pozzo is located about 11 km south of Santa Teresa Gallura and about 15 km from Palau, making it an ideal starting point for exploring northern Sardinia. It is situated on a natural fjord, the longest in Sardinia, which offers protection from wind and waves, ideal for us. Here we will disembark at 12:00 and complete the first stage to clean and provision the boat.
