All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (spanish)
Welcome to our new adventure!
We will sail on a NAUTITECH 46 – FLY super catamaran, 14 meters long and 7.75 meters wide.
This catamaran has been prepared with a lot of love and experience to offer maximum comfort and safety to the crew.
With the Spanish flag and dispatched for ZONE 1, it is the maximum preparation possible in Spain, very few ships have this navigation area since the majority fly foreign flags to avoid the extra costs of equipment to be in ZONE 1.
We have insurance for all crew members and the boat with global and comprehensive coverage.
The captain and mechanic have extensive experience in both navigation and boat maintenance and mechanics.
This will make your experience very safe and enriching for those who want to learn.
This comfortable catamaran has 4 double cabins with a private bathroom with shower and two independent showers, and in the bows it has two single beds.
On the main deck there is a large dining room where the card table, the kitchen and a sofa are located.
Outside we will have a lot of space and a large table to eat together.
On the fly, we will find another table and sofa next to the cockpit. In this spacious area we will carry out the guards.
All the crew who wish to do so will be able to participate in the daily navigation and maintenance routines.
We will purchase the supplies jointly the day before setting sail, November 14. We will all pay this amount in equal parts, then individually each one can buy what they want.
We have 2 refrigerators and a large freezer that guarantees good food throughout the trip. Eating well is important!
Furthermore, whoever wishes can delight us with its culinary qualities.
The boat will be available from November 12 to board whenever you want and take the opportunity to discover the super atmosphere of sailors in Gran Canaria where many boats come together before crossing the Atlantic and great friendships are created.
All the electronics are B&G and it has two autopilots since one trip the pilot failed us and we never spent so many hours at the helm again!
As connectivity on board, we have: STARLINK, INMARSAT CLASS C, IRIDIUM GO and NAVTEX.
All security on board is for Spanish ZONE 1, life rafts, radio beacon, AIS Start Search transponder, AIS, VHF with DISTRESS, portable VHF with DISTRESS, life jackets, etc... all equipment is prepared for transoceanic navigation and validated by the inspection of the Maritime Captaincy.
If you are looking for a boat to cross the Atlantic, it is the right boat and crew to learn a lot and respectfully enjoy the sea.
See you soon sailors!
